Okay, I seriously love this stuff. I was a little hesitant at first trying out the Glow Recipe’s watermelon glow moisturizer and sleeping pack. This was because it was VERY hyped up online. I saw it everywhere. But I went ahead and got it anyways and I love it!
The moisturizer is very light-weight, almost like a gel but it soaks right into the skin. You don’t need that much either. The sleeping pack is a thin texture as well, but more jelly like, a little bit more is needed when applying. I’ve been using both at night with my other skincare for the past 2 weeks. I wake up in the morning and my skin actually feels hydrated, plump and has produced natural oils overnight.. which is a good sign. I would definitely say if you had to get just one it would be the watermelon glow moisturizer over the sleeping pack. But I do think using both of them together works for the better. I also use my jade facial roller along with the products at night.
Hey everyone! Sephora haul! This is what got me to VIP points level. 😉
I really suggest this Smashbox primer oil. I mix a few drops wth my foundation and it works so well in making my foundation go on smooth and cover dry patches. If you have dry skin and want your foundation to look better, I highly recommend this.
Hey everyone! Today I wanted to share some new things from memebox.com. I am excited to try them out and see how they work. I love finding new products that work well and they are new.
The first thing is Real Art Cleansing Water. This is suppose to be a cleansing water that does not require water to wash your face. I don’t recommend doing this instead of washing with water everyday but it would be great for traveling and on the go. I’ll test this out and have a detailed review soon.
The next skincare item is this cleansing oil that you use water to wash off. I’ve already tested this out last night and really like it. The oil is very smoothing and nice feeling and washes off easily, taking off makeup and dirt. It does have a stronger scent to it so I didn’t use it around my eyes to take off my waterproof mascara. But for face makeup it works great as a first cleanser. I could see the makeup melting off.
I love the beach and now that I am in SoCal I want to take full advantage of it and the warm water.
Today, I am sharing my beach essentials. I like to keep it simple when it comes to products at the beach. I don’t ever wear any makeup because I know I’ll be going in the water all day. But I do make sure to bring a separate face sunscreen and a body sunscreen.
As for the face sunscreen I use this Korean brand (secret key). It came in one of my memeboxes and I’ve been hooked on it. It’s high protection and I feel like Korean made sunscreens work so well. I have to say ALWAYS wear a higher sunscreen on your face when at the beach. Gotta prevent those winkles girl!
But of the best things for skin swimming in the ocean. The saltwater helps to clear up blemishes.
Lastly, a SPF lip balm to protect the lips from spots and sunglasses to protect your eyes. I always go by this when at the beach (protect face, neck, lips, hands and eyes from sun, tan body and drink lots of water). Fresh aloe vera ice cubes to rub on my skin afterwards. Helps to soothe skin from long day in the sun.
Hot Cheetos! I don’t know why but after you come out from swimming in the ocean for a while and then eat a snack of hot cheetos they taste extra good. I also make sure to pack sandwiches, fruit, juices and waters.
This is a great all natural face mask for cleaning out the dirt, oil and makeup from the pores. I have been using it for about 4 years and it is so effective. I like to do this after I have been wearing makeup all day and my skin and pores feel clogged. This helps to deep clean them and leave the skin feeling fresh and renewed. Check out the video below with review and demo.
